House of Psalms 23 announces its workshop for women who have been incarcerated and looking to rebuild their confidence, navigate services in the community, and focus on achieving their life goals. The workshop includes 4 weeks of complementary therapeutic activities and group therapy with a licensed therapist as well as information sessions held by the HOP 23 team and featured guest speakers. Guest speakers will be providing in-depth information about their services and how they directly relate to the 5 C’s:

After completing the 8-week workshop you will see an increase in your self-confidence and have the basic tools to combat fears while navigating community resources. You would have gained a better understanding on how to communicate effectively and advocate for yourself.
Connected and Introduced to successful entrepreneurs in your community and viewing 1st hand how you can create a self-sufficient life for yourself. As well as gaining the necessary skills to produce a resume, understand interview etiquette, and land employment.
The workshop concludes with a ceremony and awards as well as a professional headshot for your portfolio as you embark on your future goals. All awarded candidates will have access to part two of the Women-Empowerment Movement series
